Ideas for *very safe* Christmas tree ornaments?

I have a baby and a dog who are both into everything. I need ideas for nice tree decorations that are non-gl, non-pointy, non-sharp, non-swallowable, non-enticing-for-dog (e.g. not made of food), and as non-breakable as possible. We already have an LED-lighted tree, so at least I don't have to worry about bulbs. Looking for either store-bought - or - I can sew and do most crafts, so I'm willing to make them as well.
