'You're not intelligent enough to marry', bride told...!?

Oh dear ! This is horrible. Surely there must have been a better way of dealing with this situation? If the social workers are still involved with her at 17 and she's five months pregnant then there's obviously something which requires attention in all of this. My feeling is that this would have been better not reported in the papers, discretion being better than sensationalism - it still won't change the registrar's mind.
