Why should athletics be favored over fine arts?

Im doing a debate project in my honors language arts cl. I'm new to honors this semester and im going up against the smartest kid in the school. IM FREAKING OUT. Please help me? What are some websites that are reliable that contain information proving that athletics should be favored over fine arts? I can barley find anything, Thank you sooooooooooo much for helping.
