What would motivate this guy to do this?

Wow! Your a total sweetheart. It's ok to be friends with him but it sounds as if he is using you. I think that you deep down inside have feelings for him. Don't let anyone use you. I would not have with him. I wish I had someone that would have done alot of things that you have done for him. Well good luck and hope you find someone great.
