Valentine Day Expectations-- Online 'dating'. . .?

I was "temporarily" divorced during 2004. Yes we are back together. During that time, I tried the internet dating thing. I had bad luck. For one thing, the guys on there outnumber the girls by about 10 to 1. The gals I did actually meet were career bound or had a lot of baggage or both. The last one I dated almost worked me to death. I'm not saying internet dating doesn't work for everyone, because many people meet this way. It just didn't work for me. I still think some of the gals on there are legit, but you don't know which ones. I got the impression that many are looking for someone they think is rich and stupid. When you do meet someone, get to know them for a good long time before making any hasty decisions.
