I totally agree!! This was my last season watching AI, not because Simon is leaving but because of the voting. Almost every comment about Lee winning includes "...he's cute..." Same thing that happened last year. I like Kris...I like Lee more....but Crystal out-sang and out-performed Lee in the finale and throughout the season overall. It's sad when the voters are more concerned with hair and teeth than musical ability. If iTunes is any indication, she is already ahead in sales...kudos to her. I'm with Ellen....I will buy her CD's, I will go to see her perform, voting still out on the salad!

Ladies Please Help, Romantic Night Advice?

Right so here's the situation, my girlfriend is on holiday and gets back friday. I'm planning a romantic night for saturday, there's not really a reason behind it to be honest, yeah it'll be partly because I won't have seen her for more than a week but mostly because I like to make my girlfriend feel appreciated and loved (: . My thinking was through the day to get everything set out, I was thinking candles.. everywhere. I the living room, on the dining table where we'd eat her favorite meal that i'd make, have a few gles of red wine then sit in front of the fireplace with candles around us, with a blanket and wine, maybe strawberries. And then put on a " movie " but really it would be homemade movie which I would of created that told her how much I love and care for her, with our songs in the background. Maybe I could even get my guitar out and sing our songs :) . Sorry if I sound a tadd weird :)

Do you think manor's are a thing of the past?

The children of today are not learning how to be respectful to adults or mindful of their manners. The kids are too lazy to write a thank you letter-either that or perhaps they just don't know how to spell anymore....too much time spent indoors playing video games and they can't even hit a ball or catch a fish. Too caught up in the name brand clothes and which celebrity is where to learn how to add, cook, or even sew. I'm glad I grew up when I did because the next generation is rude, ignorant, and apathetic.
